Computer cleaning cabinet.

Dust have a tendency to fall to the floor where it is collected in the most distant corners and this is where the computers are standing.

With their cooling fan they are drawing the dusty air into the cabinet. Here the dust is collected on the free surfaces, often in layers of dust. This have influence on the cooling of the electrically components, who become unstable or even getting destroyed.

Therefore it's necessary with a periodic cleaning. This work will in many cases be done in connection with maintenance or renovation of the computers. A lot of this work will be done at the customers site, especially in cases where only small operations are necessary and at places where many computers are installed.

To make the work with the cleaning easier and prevent the dust to be an embarrassment for the surroundings Nordic Vent ApS has developed a Computer Cleaning Cabinet.

The cabinet is hermetically closed.
The dismounted computer will be placed on a turntable.
Through several holes in the windows it is possible to control a compressed air lance with which the dust will be blown away.
Through a perforated sheet under the turntable the dust will be sucked into a underlying pocket filter.
The replacement air will rise up through the other half part under the turntable.

The compressed air is delivered by a compressor, placed in the cabinet. A lamp is placed in the closed space. The unit is fully operational, only asking for a supply from a socket with 230V, 10A. Service consisting of controlling the filter, possibly change it and drain the compressor for condensed water. All parts are easy available through inspection doors . The unit is delivered on wheels and can easily be brought to a customer.
